Solutions

One licensed carrier behind three kinds of business calling.

Koda Voice is a licensed U.S. voice carrier for one traffic profile: live, person-to-person business conversations. Three solutions carry that traffic: a carrier behind a software product, inbound and outbound for a contact team, and local presence for a real-estate team, all on Koda's own carrier credentials, not a reseller's, its own STIR/SHAKEN identity and one vetting policy.

Three solutions

Which Koda solution fits how you make calls?

Koda sorts solutions by how calls are made, not by industry: inside a product, by a contact team, or by a local team.

  • Bring your own carrier

    Software platforms

The carrier behind your product. Phone systems, customer-engagement tools and vertical software connect over SIP trunking and put voice under their own brand, with numbers and call signing included.

  • Inbound and outbound

    Contact operations

Inbound and conversational outbound for customer-contact teams: support callbacks, appointment confirmations and follow-up conversations, with per-customer quality monitoring and calling-hour awareness built in.

    For contact teams →
  • Local presence

    Real-estate teams

Local numbers, number-reputation monitoring and calling-hour awareness for teams whose business is built on prospecting conversations with owners and buyers.

What they share

What do all three Koda solutions have in common?

Every Koda solution runs on the same carrier credentials, the same vetting policy and the same traffic monitoring.

  • Own carrier credentials

Koda Voice LLC is a licensed carrier, not a reseller. Koda holds its own Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Registration Number (FRN), its own Form 499 filing with the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC) and Operating Company Number (OCN) 583H assigned by the National Exchange Carrier Association (NECA), and is an authorized STIR/SHAKEN service provider that signs calls originated on its network under its own Service Provider Code, not a reseller's certificate. Each registry identifier is verifiable in the Trust Center; the carrier verification checklist walks through the same lookups.

  • One vetting policy

Every customer passes a Know-Your-Customer review at onboarding and agrees to the same acceptable-use policy. Koda is listed in the FCC Robocall Mitigation Database (RMD) and cooperates with the Industry Traceback Group (ITG) (see the robocall-mitigation summary).

  • Monitored traffic

Koda watches answer-seizure ratio, call duration and failure codes per customer and per route, and monitors number reputation. Signing and attestation are explained on the STIR/SHAKEN page.

Fit

Is Koda right for you?

Koda fits when a live person is on your side of the call and the volume needs a carrier, not a phone plan.

How your calls are made Start with Services underneath
Inside a product you sell Software platforms SIP trunking, phone numbers, voice termination
By a team answering and returning customer calls Contact operations SIP trunking, voice termination, phone numbers
By a local team prospecting owners and buyers Real-estate teams Phone numbers, voice termination

What Koda is not built for

Koda is not built for three kinds of calling, and says so up front to keep the network clean.

  • Consumer or residential VoIP. Koda does not sell home lines or personal numbers.
  • A single office line or a handful of desk phones. A hosted phone-system vendor serves that need; Koda can be the carrier behind that vendor through SIP trunking.
  • Non-conversational bulk traffic. One-way notifications, alert broadcasts, and prerecorded or artificial-voice calling that never hands off to a person. The acceptable-use policy defines permitted use as live, person-to-person business calling and requires Koda's written approval before any artificial or prerecorded voice is used on the network.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Do all three Koda solutions run on the same licensed carrier?

All three Koda solutions run on one licensed U.S. voice carrier, Koda Voice LLC, not a reseller. Koda holds its own FCC Registration Number, its own USAC Form 499 Filer ID, Operating Company Number 583H from NECA and its own STIR/SHAKEN Service Provider Code, and signs calls originated on its network under its own certificate. Each registry identifier is verifiable in the Trust Center.

How do I choose between the three Koda solutions?

The right Koda solution follows how your calls are made. Calls placed inside a product you sell start with software platforms. Calls answered and returned by a customer-contact team start with contact operations. Calls made by a local team prospecting owners and buyers start with real-estate teams. Every path runs on the same credentials and vetting policy.

Which Koda services sit underneath each solution?

Three Koda services underpin every solution: SIP trunking to connect a phone system or platform, voice termination for outbound calls to the United States and Canada, and local phone numbers with porting. Software platforms usually take all three, contact teams take trunking, termination and numbers, and real-estate teams typically start with numbers and termination.

What kind of calling is Koda not built for?

Koda Voice is not built for consumer or residential lines, for a single office line that a hosted phone-system vendor serves better, or for non-conversational bulk traffic such as one-way notifications and prerecorded or artificial-voice calling that never hands off to a person. The acceptable-use policy defines permitted use as live, person-to-person business calling.
